Which girl doesn’t love some R&R time to her self? I personally believe it’s very important to set aside some time every week (if not every few days) to spend some time pampering myself by creating my very own spa at home. One of the things I love to do is take a bubble bath. When Lush Cosmetics came out with their bath bombs, it changed bubble baths forever.
These much raved about bath bombs are available in a variety of scents, each containing a unique mix of colors, flowers and what not. One of their best selling bath bombs happens to be the “Sex” Bath Bomb and since the color pink is simply irresistible I ended up buying two. You can find out more about the Sex bath bomb on the Lush website (here) where you can also order it for $6.75. Unfortunately since they do not deliver in Pakistan, I got mine from Zensky for Rs. 1,500 (Excluding delivery).
Made of aphrodisiac ingredients including jasmine, Ylang Ylang oil and sage oil, the bath bomb instantly fizzes and creates a frenzy of pink and purple with surprise floating flower petals in your bath. Another key ingredient is soya milk that moisturizes your skin leaving you relaxed. The flowery fragrance not only lingers on your skin but also remained in my bathroom for the next 3 days.
How to use:
Fill your bath with hot water and throw in the bath bomb. The rest is pretty self-explanatory and it depends on your preference if you get in while the bath bomb is dissolving or after (I prefer waiting till it’s completely dissolved).
Why I love it:
- Completely vegan
- Great value for money
- Smells beyond amazing and the fragrance is long lasting.
- The frenzy of colors reminds me of candy floss and pink just happens to be my favorite color.
- Super relaxing and moisturising.
Why I dislike it:
- The bath bomb left tons of purple and pink residue in the bath tub after draining the water.
- The rose petals go mushy in the water.
